    WHO Report Praises China’s Tuberculosis Preventive Treatment Practices, Contributing Expertise to Global Efforts to End TB

    China’s tuberculosis preventive treatment programme has achieved notable results and received recognition from the World Health Organization, offering a“China model”that other countries can draw on in their efforts to end the TB epidemic worldwide.By advancing tuberculosis preventive treatment in a systematic way, China has put forward an effective“China model”for the global goal of ending TB and will continue to contribute Chinese experience and capacity to this endeavour.

    Summary Meeting of Western China Child Road Safety Project and Child Road Safety Exchange Activity under WHO Collaborating Centre Successfully Held

    Eighth China Russia Infectious Disease Seminar Held in Saint Petersburg, Russia

    On 18 and 19 November 2025, the Eighth China Russia Infectious Disease Seminar was held in Saint Petersburg, Russia.Li Qun, Deputy Director General of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention(China CDC).The Chinese delegation consisted of six experts from China CDC and two experts from the Zhejiang Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention.Russian experts attended from the Smorodintsev Research Institute of Influenza of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.

    China CDC and National Institute of Health of Colombia Hold First Virtual Meeting
