China-Russia Tuberculosis Prevention and Control Seminar Was Successfully Held: Strengthening Health Defenses Together

On November 23, 2024, the China-Russia Tuberculosis (TB) Prevention and Control Seminar was successfully convened in Beijing. This seminar gathered a total of 13 experts and scholars from China and Russia, specializing in TB prevention and control, clinical treatment, and fundamental research. During the seminar, Chinese and Russian experts collaboratively examined the most recent strategies, scientific advancements, and practical experiences in TB prevention and control. They also engaged in in-depth discussions regarding the current TB epidemic and explored future trends.

 

The seminar not only provided a high-level academic exchange platform for professionals engaged in TB prevention and control in China and Russia, but also established a solid foundation for future in-depth collaboration in clinical trial research and other aspects of TB prevention and control. Through the concerted efforts of China and Russia, the two nations are well-positioned to attain even greater achievements in TB prevention and control, making a significant contribution to the global effort against TB.
