On January 9, 2026, the Information Center, together with the Cybersecurity Office, conducted the 2026 cybersecurity incident emergency drill. The drill aimed to strengthen the emergency response skills of the Information Center’s support staff and to test the emergency plan.

Designed with a problem-focused and real-world approach, the drill was carried out in a simulated environment. It recreated typical incidents, including an attack on the official website and website page tampering. The exercise covered key stages from attack simulation and detection through monitoring to emergency response. The procedures were sound and moved smoothly from one step to the next. Participants coordinated closely and worked in an orderly manner, completing all tasks and achieving the intended results.

After the drill, Fu Gang, Director of the Information Center, and Su Xuemei, Director of the Cybersecurity Office, gave a review. Fu noted that the drill should be used to refine the emergency plan and the information reporting process, and to improve cross-department coordination and response efficiency. Su called for stronger and more timely security early warning mechanisms, learning from good practices, and improving emergency response and support capacity.

The drill tested the effectiveness of the joint coordination mechanism between the Information Center and the Cybersecurity Office. It also confirmed the feasibility of the emergency plan and the reliability of the technical support system, strengthening cybersecurity defenses for the safe and stable operation of disease control information systems.
