Strengthening Cybersecurity—China CDC Hosts Network and Data Security Training Program
To enhance employees’ cybersecurity awareness, improve their ability to counter cyber threats, and ensure the security of business information systems and data, the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (China CDC) held a Network and Data Security Training Program on February 27, 2025. Yan Jun, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of China CDC, attended the training and delivered a speech. More than 80 officials and staff members from headquarters departments and affiliated units participated in the event.
The training covered the latest developments in cybersecurity, cybersecurity policies, regulatory compliance requirements, cyberattack tactics and countermeasures, data resource classification and categorization, information system security classification and registration procedures, emergency response protocols, and China CDC’s cybersecurity agenda for 2025. Participants engaged in interactive Q&A sessions and discussions on these topics.
