China CDC's Global Public Health Center Hosted International Training on Project Management for Global Public Health Aid and Cooperation

On December 18-19, 2023, the Global Public Health Center of the China CDC successfully conducted an International Project Management Training on Global Public Health Aid and Cooperation in Beijing. The training was attended by 50;professionals, university students and teachers;from the China CDC, various implementation agenciesof the China CDC-U.S.CDC Collaborative Projects,and the Asian Institute of Beijing Foreign Studies University.
 
The training featured experts from the WHO, the International Red Cross, the US CDC, the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association, and the China CDC, as well as academia from the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Wuhan University, and the Party School of the Central Committee of C.P.C (National Academy of Governance). The curriculum spanned global public health practice innovations, international project planning and management, global health security and governance, international humanitarian health, international emergency cooperation and capacity building;and outlook of the Fourteenth General Programme of Work (GPW14) and Operational Planning in WHO.This diverse and interdisciplinary approach provides participants with insights into the latest global health trends, theoretical knowledge, and practical experience.
 
The training was highly praised for its rich content and well-structured arrangement, enhancing participants' capabilities in international project management within global health cooperation. The collaborative discussions on cutting-edge global health topics further strengthened the participants' skills.
