Shen warmly welcomed the newly enrolled trainees and encouraged them to carry forward the spirit of "keep going, keep fighting" by taking on responsibilities, facing challenges, be problem-oriented, taking practices as the foundation and pursuing excellence. He hopes one day the trainees would grow into the backbones of field epidemiology talents who are "ready to assemble at the first call and capable of fighting and winning".
