Global Public Health Program Planning Workshop Held in Beijing

The Global Public Health Program Planning and Scientific Research Practice Training Workshop was held between November 7-8, 2022.Co-organized by the Center for Global Public Health, China CDC and BRIGHT (Bring Research to Impact for Global Health to Tsinghua) Network,Tsinghua University Vanke School of Public Health (VSPH). Dr. QI Xiaopeng, Acting Director of Center for Global Public Health and Dr. CHENG Feng, Principal Investigator of BRIGHT Network delivered opening remarks respectively. The training workshop was faciliated by Dr. CHEN Hong, Chief Manager of China CDC – U.S. CDC Collaboration Program.
 
Dr. QI Xiaopeng, Ms. Sue Lin Yee, Deputy Director of CDC China; Dr. CHEN Hong, Dr.TAN Feng, Director of China CDC Academic Publishing Office, Dr. CHENG Feng and other experts from international organizations and universities delivered speeches on China CDC Global Public Health Practice, Capacity Building for CDC Overseas Global Health Programs, Planning and Management of International Collaborative Projects in Global Health, China CDC Weekly: Global Sharing of Public Health Information and other topics respectively. Public health information was shared and hot topics were discussed during the workshop.
 
Colleagues from China CDC, Tsinghua University and international organizations attended the training workshop online. The participants expressed that the training workshop provide a platform for further cooperation, and it was a good practice of sharing and communication among global public health professionals on global public health program planning, optimized implementation & scientific research capacity building.
