The WHO report shows that the prevention and control of tuberculosis in BRICS countries have been greatly affected during the COVID-19. It is essential that digital health technology plays an increasingly important role in the prevention and control of TB during the pandemic. The effective use of digital health devices can promote the continuous diagnosis, treatment and management care services for TB patients.

The experts from BRICS countries called on governments to further increase funding for TB,enhance the R&D and innovation capacity of TB, and ensure that the prevention and control of TB affected by the COVID-19 pandemic will go back on track as soon as possible.
