About the Lantern Festival Party

Since 2004, the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention initiated and has been hosting the "China CDC Lantern Festival Party" with the theme of "Communication, Development and Cooperation" every year on the night of the 15th day of the first month on Chinese lunar calendar, where collaborators from international and national partners gathered to celebrate the Chinese traditional festival and enjoyed the reunion moment of the International Family of Public Health, reviewing the past achievements and envisioning the new year's collaboration plan. Highlighted moments exhibition, individual talent performances, group play and various forms of shows originated from partners were presented at the Party to promote the communication and  friendship among the Family members. The Lantern Festival Party was interrupted in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
