Information Center Hosts National Virtual Technical Training on Data Integration for the Pre-Positioned Software for Intelligent Infectious Disease Surveillance and Early Warning

To further advance the integration of data collected via the National Pre-Positioned Software for Intelligent Infectious Disease Surveillance and Early Warning, including data from medical institutions, the China CDC Information System, and provincial-level integrated platforms for infectious disease surveillance, early warning, and emergency command, the Information Center of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (China CDC) organized a national virtual technical training session on the afternoon of August 18, 2025. Technical personnel from information and related departments of CDCs across all provinces (including autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps participated in the training online.

The training session provided detailed explanations of the technical solutions for enabling data exchange between electronic medical record (EMR) systems in healthcare institutions and the provincial-level integrated platforms, as well as for interfacing influenza surveillance data with these platforms. It also clarified the implementation requirements, technical pathways, and specific operational procedures for data integration. This training laid a solid foundation for data aggregation across provincial platforms and supported the expansion of application scenarios in the field of infectious disease surveillance and early warning.
