China CDC and MoHS Sierra Leone started to build a partnership since the joint responses to the Ebola epidemic 2014 and developed long-term projects dedicated to strengthening the public health surveillance, research and laboratory capacities, and a team of China CDC experts based in Jui, Freetown continues to support the country’s response to COVID-19 till now.
