China CDC and WHO have established a long-term partnership for decades, and collaborations range from policy or protocol development to public health capacity strengthening covering areas of emerging and re-emerging diseases, vaccine preventable diseases, tobacco control, women and children's health, global health etc.Not only through dialogues, collaboration projects, regular meetings, expert secondments, but also make contribution to global public health through 6 collaborating centers (influenza, vector surveillance and management, tropical disease, radiation and health, community-based integrated noncommunicable disease control and prevention, injury prevention and control) and 4 reference laboratories (measles and rubella, polio, Japanese encephalitis, rotavirus).
