1.How are indoor humidifiers properly used?
The continuous use of humidifiers for a long time can increase the humidity in a room, but if the humidity exceeds 65%, it is easy to induce humidifier pneumonia.

The correct method is to stop humidifiers for 10 to 20 minutes every two hours. When you feel that the indoor air is not fresh, you should open the window for ventilation and then humidify the room again.

2.What kind of water should be added to humidifiers?
It is best to use purified water for humidifiers. It is not only safer, but also helps improve humidification efficiency and prolong the service life of humidifiers.

Compared with tap water, using purified water will not lead to the formation of scale. Moreover, the water should be replaced every day and the water container should be thoroughly cleaned every two weeks.

3.Can we add disinfectant to humidifiers?
The improper addition of disinfectant may cause death. As you breathe in and out, the disinfectant floating in the air can enter freely into the respiratory tract and harm your health invisibly.

Adding essential oil, herbal lotions or vinegar to humidifiers will irritate the respiratory tract and may cause asthma.
