Center for Immunization Program

The Center for Immunization Program is responsible for coordinating surveillance of immunization program targeted vaccine preventable diseases; monitoring vaccination coverage levels and evaluating adverse events following immunization (AEFI) for the safety of vaccination; conducting research and evaluation on the policies and strategies of vaccination and formulating corresponding technical guidelines for use of vaccines; conducting investigations of major vaccination-related events; and providing health education on vaccination and engaging in public communication.
