Division of Infectious Diseases

The Division of Infectious Diseases is responsible for researching on policies and strategies about infectious disease prevention and control, carrying out risk assessment and outbreak identification, investigation and disposal of infectious diseases. It is also responsible for the planning, designing, operating, managing and evaluating the national infectious disease surveillance system, implementing and evaluating infectious disease intervention programs, and formulating technical plans and guidelines for the prevention and control of infectious diseases.
