Public Health Emergency Center (PHEC)

The Public Health Emergency Center is in charge of emergency response coordination, emergency preparedness and capacity building in the China CDC. It organizes and provides guidance on surveillance, risk assessment, investigation on and responses to public health emergencies and urgent health threats. PHEC enhances China's health security through developing and implementing health security/emergency strategies and measures.
