The Office of Policy and Planning Research is mainly responsible for the formulation, coordination and promotion of the China CDC’s medium- and long-term development plan, organizing the analysis and study on major public health issues, conducting research on public health theories and policies related to disease control and prevention, and supporting the formulation and enaction of public health laws/regulations and the introduction and implementation of relevant policies for the China CDC and the national government.
