Shen Hongbing has been engaged in epidemiological research for more than 30 years. He has carried out extensive research into cancer epidemiology, high-risk population strategies, birth cohorts and big data in health care, and has made important contributions to cancer gene prediction and targeted prevention.

 

Shen has published many papers in major international journals, such as Nat Genet, and Lancet Respir Med.

 

Shen has won the second prize of the National Natural Science Award as the first author, the Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation for Scientific and Technological Progress Award, the second prize of the National Teaching Achievement Award, and many other scientific and teaching awards and prizes.
