GlaxoSmithKline Delegation Visits China CDC

On 10 December 2025, Li Qun, Deputy Director General of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (China CDC) met with Mr Ke Ruikang, President for International Business at GlaxoSmithKline, and his delegation at the Changping campus of China CDC.
 
The two sides held a technical exchange on issues of shared concern. Deputy Director General Li noted that China CDC has always maintained an open attitude and works with all actors in the public health field to safeguard the health and well-being of the Chinese people and to advance global health. Mr Ke stated that GlaxoSmithKline is ready to serve as a partner in China’s public health efforts, to actively fulfil its social responsibilities and to promote mutually beneficial cooperation.
 
Representatives from the National Center for AIDS Prevention and Control, the Division of Communicable Disease Control, the Immunization Center, the National Center for Tuberculosis Control and Prevention and the Department of International Cooperation of China CDC attended the meeting.
